Complete Integration of Team Project-Based Learning Into a Database Syllabus

Team project-based learning (TPBL) combines two techniques: 1) (PBL) and 2) teamwork. This combination leverages the outcomes of both methods places students in a real work situation where they must develop solve project while working as team. TPBL has been used advanced database subjects Jaume I University (UJI)’s Computer Science degree program. method was for four years (academic from 2018/2019 to 2021/2022) with positive outcomes. study presents development, which includes teamwork formation, activities, timetable, exercised competencies (both soft specific). Further, project’s results were evaluated three different perspectives: evaluation by teammates; students’ opinions on subject project; 3) final grades.
